Jacob & Co. collabs with Alec Monopoly
A new Monopoly toy for $600,000.. Recently, Jacob and Co. announced a partnership with graffiti artist Alec Monopoly. Monopoly has previously collaborated with TAG Heuer, so he is very familiar with the world of watches. This first collaboration with Jacob is the result of a huge success, creating a colorful work of art based on Jacob's famous 3D astronomical clock. Four arms and a complication, it represents a small figure found in an exclusive work.Crafted in 18k rose gold, this watch features sapphire crystals and four sides of the sapphire caseback for easy viewing of the movements and animations within. An elegant base shows a dark night sky with stars, while Jacob and Co's special Astronomy Double-Axis Rotating Tourbillon Watch, facing the rotating dial, is housed in a patented differential gear system. Perpendicular to the holographic needle arm: Jacob's magnesium glove painted earth and Jacob Company's original face cut a one-carat diamond on one side and 288 faces on the other. The diamond makes one revolution per minute. The extremely complicated JCAM Caliber 10 movement has 365 parts and offers a power reserve of 60 hours.
The bright colors make this watch look like a toy. This is a useful effect. The hand-engraved figure is based on the computer-scale Monopoly design, which fits inside the watch without affecting the complications of movement and rotation. Small gold sculptures hand painted by Monopoly with acrylic colors represent the art of the brand. Exclusive street graffiti may extend to three-story buildings, but the designs on the clock are one of the smallest ever made. This masterpiece is limited to 9 pieces.
